A lot of my friends (on here and IRL) are ttc or are pregnant. So that has made me think about when we want to ttc again...

January
Pros:
Closer together
Don't have to worry about BC (DH gets home)
Baby fever

Cons:
Closer together
Stress on DH just getting home

May
Pros:
Better spacing
Better chance of being able to nurse to term (2 years)
More time alone with C

Cons:
Having to wait (baby fever)
Might still be too early..

August
Pros:
Will definitely be able to nurse to term

Cons:
Spacing is getting too far apart
Having to wait


So what do y'all think? When should we ttc?

My birth control is Rebecca. Dear heavens, there is no child on the planet like her. She is just so all over the place and curious. She's never malicious, so thats good, but she's always busy.
I couldnt handle two Rebeccas. I hope Rachel stays as laid back as she is now.

How many kids do you want? Thats another thing to consider when planning TTC.

3 biological and 1 adopted. But we may have to wait until we're 30 to adopt because we want to adopt from China..

well, we stopped using protection in june. i didn't start ovulating until 3 or 4 months ago. we tried in june but i wasn't o'ing yet and if I was (doubtful) my lp was too short.

I say don't worry about protection when DH gets home but don't actively try until you guys get back into a routine of him being home and everything

you can't adopt from china till you're 30? I wonder if you BOTH have to be?

Yup. Crazy huh? Of course adoption laws are always changing over there so it's possible it'll change before then. But we're the same age anyway.

i think that rushing to try and get pregnant may be stressful, so if you just let it happen naturally OR wait a few months to get readjusted/reacquainted then that may be the best thing. but honestly, whenever it feels RIGHT is the time to do it!
