Britax knowing mommies?

posted 4th Nov
So I have heard good things about Britax. I have the britax infant carrier, but I was looking at the convertible ones now for when she out grows her infant one.

So I see they have four options....

Roundabout (two kinds one to 50lbs and one to 40lbs)

Marathon

Boulevard Click & Safe

So what would be the best choice? What are your opinions on them?

We have the Boulevard for when Bella outgrows her Chicco. I love the way it looks. It is a little bit more expensive but to me it looked so comfy.

I am not worried about the price, just her safety. I love the cowmooflage print too.

It was one of the top rated convertibles. However Graco has the best rated not the Britax.

BRU has a big book with all the consumer reports and stuff in it. The Graco Nautulis (I think that is the one, I know it was a Graco) was the highest rated.

The Graco Nautilus is not a convertible!

We have a Boulevard & a Decathlon! I love both, but wish they had cuter prints like the Marathons...However the new Boulevard is Couture Spa is pretty awesome! Both have been great for extended rear facing our 29 months old!

I can't remember what is was called but there was a Graco that had the highest ratings in conertibles.

So you like the Boulevard? I have never heard anything about them. Everyone always talks about the Marathon. I can't wait to use our Boulevard!

LOL...that's funny! I know Marathon's are more common and definitely cheaper...but all mymommy friendshave Boulevards and we all started out with Graco infant seats...well we actually started out with Peg Perego Primo Viaggio's...but I quickly replaced it!

I really love our Boulevard...our daughter seems more than comfy. There is no re-threading when it's time to adjust the straps...the padding inserts were great when our daughter was smaller. I have no complaints...

I have a marathon and like it. I prefer my Evenflo convertible. I would stay away from the click and safes because unless the fixed them they were clicking before they were even tight enough. The only differance between the Marathon and the Boulveard is the sip wings and covers everything else is the same.

Yeah right now I am leaning more towards the boulevard. It does look more comfy. I really wish I could look at them before hand, but the BRU here doesnt have a good selection.

we have a boulevard in one car and a marathon in the other and i absolutely love them both and so does Cam. my mom has a cheapo cosco one in her car and it sucks!!!!! can't get it tight enough and it forces the kid to sit at a funny angle. I think either the boulevard or marathon are great choices - one is just bulkier and better for bigger kids

Which one is better for bigger kids? I would prefer to have it till she is pretty old.
