Cetaphil

Okay so my LO has little red dry bumps all over her cheeks & neck so I asked my friend if her baby had that too and she said yes that the doctorrecommended using cetaphil. So she came by and dropped some off. Before putting my LO to bed Iput some on her cheeks and neck. When I woke up this morning I looked at her and it got really bad! 
Is it supposed to do that?
Did I put to much?
What should I do?
I feel like such a bad mom 

idk what that is.. but honestly i wouldnt have put anything on my child without asking her pedi first. id call to be safe=/ but thats jmo

The lotion or the soap? I've only heard of the soap.

Liv has severe eczema, we bathe her every other day, using cetaphil, and use Cerave lotion everyday.
Cant' even tell she ever had it.

I don't think they're made specifically for infants. So I'd ask.

Isnt Cetaphil face wash?.. If you put it on, you should have rinsed it off.

i had to use cetaphil on my daughter for 10 months.. and had to wash all of our clothes in dreft .. she had super sensitive skin ... cetaphil never did that to her though... have you changed your laundry soap or anything

Plus you should ask her ped first

Cetaphil is great for dry skin. It sounds like your child may have either a yeast rash or a heat rash. If the moisture of the lotion made the rash worse, try keep the rash ultra dry and see if that helps.

(Nothing to feel guilty about... you tried something, it didn't work... )

Cetaphil has different products..not just soap

Irelynn has issues with eczema(sp)....we can only use Aveeno on her...

its weird because she only gets it on 1 arm.  ....

Thanx ladies! I'll be sure to ask my pedi first before I do anything! I feel so bad for her   I just want to make it better. I think I might of put to much...
For now on I'm just going to wash it with plain o' water.
