Okay so I am seeing so many posts about H1N1 and people asking if others have had the shot or are getting it. I personally have gotten it after Irefused a few times and finally my OB talked me intoit. She had made a good point she said that she has not heard of anyone dying from getting the vaccination but obviouslyhas heard of people dying from the flu. Just this week alone I have seen in the paper that a pregnant mother died from the flu and alsoa child.

So question if the vaccince is so bad why would your OB strongly advise you to get it? I mean its not like they are trying to purposely harm you or your child.

they dont know the long term effects of it, or the effects it has on your fetus because its so brand new. Its not like they would have a study with 100 pregnant women and give it to them and then see how their baby is after its born, sorry I'm not a guinea pig. And neither is my baby.

My OB said he didn't really reccommend the shot. But was offering it in his office. However i got H1N1 before i could ever get the shot. I'm 25 weeks & i didn't have any complications with it. I've known quite a few people that even though they've gotten the shot, they ended up getting H1N1 anyway. My OB was one of them.

they get money fro the company everytime you get it

So far from the people that have had it 94%of pregnant women were protected after one shot.. and there were No complications

and they said that children would need more than one shot to be better protected... but still there was no side effects.

I saw this on the news.. I need to reseach it a little more but Yes as soon as it becomes available to me.. Me and my daughters will be getting the vaccine.

I'm not getting it, nor did I plan on getting it for myself or my kids..... BUT even if I wanted to get it or have my kids get it. Their pedi only got 10, yes 10 doses! My son Nathan would have needed 2 doses because of his age. DID you know that? Dr's say that for the "FULL" effect small children need 2 doses. Give me a fuckin break. They don't even have enough of the vaccine to give them one shot. Stupid fucking swine flu hype.

Will we get it? Hell no.

There aren't many side effects now, but there could be in 10 or 20 years. Long term.

Why do they recommend it? Because they get money from the pharmaceutical companies.

Besides, myself and my son have both had it already (the flu) and were fine. The swine flu doesn't kill any more people than the regular flu. Vaxed and unvaxed.
