Hemroids, 5months pp..C-section! TMI

posted 4th Nov
Ok its not like I even pushed my baby out, but since having him I have been having problems down in that area. It started with cronic constipation, the kind you have in the begining of your pregnancy, you know? Well over time it has not gotten better and now I have a big hemroid, TMI I know. Ive looked everywhere online seachring for tips on how to get rid of it but all Im coming up with is prep H and tucks wipes. Im already using that and there is no relief.
So do you have any tips on how to get rid of it? Ive gottne to the point where Im taking milk of magnisa everynight just to make sure I stay semi-regular. I dont have many options on taking drugs, im nursing.
But any tips you have Im willing to try, im in pain!

Go get them removed....if it is that painful. They have procedures doctors can do right in their offices for them now a days.

keep up w/ the stool softners.
and prep H ect for when it hurts.

but you cant ever get rid of them. they're there forever.
BUT it wont hurt forever.
it'll subside.
mine only hurts when i get constipated now.. i never notice it otherwise.

You probably got them from straining when you hadthe constipation. You can have them removed or just wait it out. It's up to you. I hope you feel better soon!!!

Use the dolcolax (sp?) it's supposed to be safe while breastfeeding. I would take that until I was regular and even sometimes now because I still get constipated because I don't eat very well. When I would hurt I would use the spray can stuff that is for cutts and stuff. The hospital gave it to me for my vajayjay since I was torn. I use it on my rear and it numbs it and cools it. I don't know the name but it's in a blue can and it's for cuts and burns.

They are the equivilant of vericose veins in the anus. You CAN hae them removed but they don't go away alone. They DO get smaller when they aren't irritated and then they don't bother you anymore. Use stool softener and try not to strain!!!

no they never go away on their own .. you can have them surgically removed... but if you keep up with colace and add a little extra fiber to your diet they wont bother you .. they usually flare up when you strain from constipation

I don't have roids... Yet. But I am horribly constipated and I have 2 fissures. I HATE going #2... Stool softeners weren't working, so I gave up! But I NEVER try to go. If it feels like I'm about to poop myself, I will, but straining to go is what causes hemorrhoids a lot of the time.

But they never go away, and you have to get them removed if you want them gone.
