why cant i come to terms with

being 26?? Ive never had a problem with bday and getting older and all the jazz.. but its like i cant understand that im 26... when people ask me my age i still say 25.. i almost got into a fight with my dad and gma the other day because they were saying im 26 but i swore that im 25.. its odd.. lol ... so anyways .. totally random sorry ...

yeah im 26 too and i understand i feel so old, especially since my SO is 22! its like every year is a nightmere i no longer look forward to my bday! and still to this day i say im 25 but totally mistakingly! and i turned 26 in june!

25 was a hard adjustment for me. 26 didn't bother me at all but I am already dreading 30...and it is still 3 years away!

i dont know what my deal is... so far each year hasnt bothered me ... im not looking forward to 30 at all .lol

same here...25 was a difficult number to swallow..I've been 24 for the past 3, almost 4 years! LOL

lol .. i guess im subconciously (sp) trying to stay 25 forever lol ...

I think the hardest part of it all, for me at least, is that I have so much more that I want to accomplish and I feel as if I am running out of time. I almost feel as if I should be at a different place in my life (career wise) than I am at now.

25 was definitely hard to get past. I'm having a REALLY hard time with the fact that I'm going to be 30 this month. Where did the time go??

i think thats alot of it .. my friend and i were talking the other day about that .. i really thought i would have gone to a 4 year university and have an established career , and would have traveled ... but no .. instead i wasted 7 years bartending lol ... im almost done with my double associates though so thats good and i have my daughter and husband .. life is good .. just not where i pictured myself

time goes so fast .. it seems like when it was just me .. doing whatever i wanted time stood still.. now that i have my own family its going so fast.. and these are the times i want to stand still  

Sometimes I will hear a song that seems like it was just popular and realize that was 10 years ago. Or I will think about how I just turned 21 but wait, that was 8 years ago. Or I will think of how old my kids are getting. My daughter is 11! My baby is 2. Not really a baby anymore. It's just strange how when I was a kid, time couldn't go fast enough and now i just wish it would slow down a little.
Last year I actually totally forgot how old I was and kept saying I was 28 still and even that seemed too old, lol.

Yeah, I wish that were possible. I would love to have more time to enjoy my kids while they're little.
