constipation

is there anything you can give a 2 month old for costipation he seems to be having a lot of trouble...he crys and pushes for like hours threwout the day??

And also i have 3 dogs and one of them is a lil f***** n i have to go outside with him to let him potty, is it bad for me to leave him inside for like ten min while he is asleep in his crib...i bring a moniter out there with me

i either gave my son a teaspoon of dark karo syrup in his bottle or i was told to give him 2 oz of pear juice. That helped him pretty much right away. As for the going outside thing. I step outside sometimes also i have the monitor with me. I do not see anything wrong with it as long as you do not like completly walk away from the house

i can give him juice or syrup when he is so young?

i asked my doctor the same thing and they said yes! is he formula fed or breastfed? How long has it been since he went?

yes, my pedi told us to give our LO prune/apple juice.
You can also try dark Karo syrup or a lubed thermometer up his butt.
We give our son milk of mag sometimes to help him go.
