babes eyes

Okay when im close to my babes face he dosnt make good eye contact and he looks away all the time..the only time he has good eye contact is when your standing up by him. I mean im not like really close to his face but just when your feeding him or holding him. Could there be something wrong with his lil eyes??

Your baby cant really see to well right now. Its all blurry. Hes fine, it will all come into focus later on.

something wrong with his eyes because he looks away? not necessarily but it might be easier to ask your pedi to take a look at it...

I'd say its still too early to tell. They should check the eyes at the 8 week appt and you coult tell the pedi about what you're seeing him do. They eyes take a while to develop fully though.

He's fine. His eyes are still developing. But if you're really worried, call your pedi.

Okay..but i thought that when they r born that they see close up better than far away?? We have an appt next week thurs
