Would it be okay...

Raegan still drinks from a bottle.. (10 months on friday)
and..I've tried to give her sippy cups before but she just chews on them...

is it okay if when she turns a year old.. I take her bottle completely away and only give her sippy cups?

how do you wean them or get them to take a sippy cup?

I know some people go cold turkey with the bottle and some gradually wean. My DD will be one next week and still takes a bottle...I will probably wait a few more months to take hers away.

I took my daughters bottle away at 12 months.

Sophia is 9.5 months and takes a sippy, but will only drink juice out of it. So I'm gradually going to get her to take her formula in it so she can be off the bottle by one. Just try and keep introducing it, it took her a couple of days to realize that you drink, not chew on a sippy  

I took my son off the bottle at 9 months. One day i just took all his bottles away and that was the end of it. He didn't even care.

That's what I do. Just take it away like it was never there.

I did that at about 11 months lol I procstanted but I would say yes its okay Jett had a little trouble adjusting but eventually he did

Have you tried those Transistion Sippy Cups that have nipples like bottles to ease them onto sippies? and are you using soft or hard nipples for the sippies

I got soft ones.. and I some that had nipple like thingies.. I don't know if its what you are talking about.. but she just got her teeth like a little over a month ago.. so she's chewing threw everything.. and I figured she'd bite holes in it.
