Update on the :-( ...

Went to the Dr... put me on Wellbutrin (sp?) ... going to try it out for 2 weeks then go back. If it doesn't help with the crazy mood swings and anger spikes, then we might look into getting on something else...

Very limited though b/c of BFing... if I can just get through the next 3 months I'd be much more comfortable with having to stop. Delilah would be 1 yr old, and even though it would be great to continue, at least I know she got a good solid year in. I have to worry about my health and sanity as well, right?

If the Wellbutrin doesn't work, tell your DR about it IMMEDIATELY. When I was on it (about 7 years ago).. it made me suicidal.
The DR's say when you get depressed, you just want to lay around and do nothing bc your so sad. Wellbutrin gives you a little energy, so all the sudden, you act upon your saddening thoughts...

I've been told that it didn't work for a lot of people, so I'm going to be keeping a close eye on it! It's the safest anti-depressant to take while BFing so we're trying it first. Makes me nervous though b/c I was on a lot of anti-depressants years ago, but never this one...

Even if you can't go til a year, you did good! 9 months is great and sure is better than nothing!
