I need to bitch

I really need to bitch this morning.

Okay some of you may have seen in another post about my gallbladder issues... if not here's the run down. I had gallbladder issues when I was pregnant with my LO. They wanted to remove it but they thought her placenta was detaching so they couldn't. Well about a week ago I started hurting and feelings sick. I thought I might be pregnant again but tested and got a negative. Well then it got even worse to the point where I was vomiting and having chills and a fever. I went to the ER and after waiting for 8hrs to be seen the doctor came in, pushed on my stomach, asked me if I had had issues before and then referred me to a surgeon without doing an ultrasound or x-ray.

Mmk let me start with problem number one:
Where they didn't do anything but draw blood on me at the ER, the surgeon center can't even make me an appointment to be seen. They said they needed labs and an ultrasound confirming it's my gallbladder, which I knew they would but the ER doctor was a serious jackass. I mean he gave me medication I can't take because I EBF and I told him I did...  So now I'm in the process of trying to get a hold of my records in TN from when I was scanned before. In order for my records to even be sent to the surgery center I have to sign a release form... problem with that is I'm in NC... 198miles away and my husband can't go sign for me either. I told them about my situation and I'm hoping they'll just fax over my info to the center and I'll get scheduled but if not then I have to get a form mailed to me, sign it, send it back, then wait for them to send information to the center....THEN get an appointment for surgery....

Problem number two: I am living with my sister. I live here basically for free right now... I mean I have WIC and I'm working on getting Food Stamps and my husband is sending money but I am not required to pay any bills to stay here. I help out by cleaning up and watching the babies during the day since my sister works nights and her husband works days. Okay well I've had this gallbladder issue for over a week now and have been in severe pain for the last four days. Today my sister wakes me up to come downstairs and watch her son and tells me I need to do the dishes. There's at LEAST 5 days worth of dishes in there since apparently I'm the only one who knows how to do them . I know I was the last to do them because they have eaten out since I got sick...and a dish I had to let soak is still in there... soaking . I can't take any pain medicine since I'm watching the babies and I don't want to pass out on them... and I get dizzy, feverish, and hurt when I stand for long periods of time.

I am hating my life right now.

That really sucks dear! Do you have a military installation near you or is there any way you can get a POA? The reason I ask is it might work faster if you get a POA for your hubs to go sign for your records. You dont have to do a general if your not comfortable with it, but get one specific to getting your records. Then once he gets them have him over night them to you or since he has the ability to sign for them have him sign to be sent to the new hospital. Not sure if this will help but i figured i would still put my 2 cents in!

The closest post is Ft. Bragg and it's four hours away I think.

I think they sent my records over... after I argued on the phone with them for 20 mins explaining what all is going on. It really just irks my nerves that my ER doctor screwed me over so badly ya know? I mean if he had just given me an ultrasound there then I wouldn't have to go in circles.

But if it comes down to it I'll sign POA for the hubs. Thanks though  

ER docs are stupid.. had a bad experience myself.
