flu shot....

This might be stupid but i have never gotten a flu shot befor yesturday. I feel really sick and my arm were i got the shot is really swollen. Is this normal do we get sick from the flu shot??

Yea, you can get sick briefly from the flu shot-afterall they do inject you with some of the virus so your immune system can build up the proper antibodies to fight it off-don't worry!

Sore arm is normal. Which shot did you get, Seasonal or H1N1. I can link you the VIS that you should have been given when you had it.

It's normal. I got the seasonal flu shot for the first time a few weeks ago and had the same thing for a day

no just the regular flu shot they offered me the H1N1 but i didnt get it. it hasnt been studied as well as it should be so maybe next year.....

Im glad im not the only one who hasnt gotten the H1N1 shot... It scares me   I hope you feel better hun!!! (Ive never gotten any vaccine for a flu but I have heard you usually get sick from them like the first responder said.)

Really good. He's happy, healthy,and bouncing around like usual. That shot can kiss my damn ass. The prego people that have died from it is because they didn't go in when the symptoms started.
AHHH I know!!! I can't even believe it. We're in Maryland right now for J's family and they've given me so much shit that just makes me even more excited.

ya this was my first one ever i got it bc im not getting noah his. so i want to stay protected so i dont get him sick plus the ppl that watch him when i go to work have theirs to so he is good. and thanks girl

i know for real so many people die of the regualr flu H1N1 if you go in when u first getting symptons you should be ok. thats great you like his family? i love getting gifts to they are great!   he is good huge he got his first 2 teeth last week his third is working his way threw. still no crawling though just wlaking around in his walker and crusing on furniture.
