I have an awesome cleaner called Pro Tek. It removed every layer of EVERYTHING in my bathtub & sinks. I love it. I bought it from a door-to-door salesman, but I think you can get it online too.

try scrubbing bubbles I usually do that let it foam for about 10 minutes and scrub it really good with a rough type dish cleaning pad. (use a new one)

I don't cleanour shower/tub... that's SO's job, so I don't have any tips on what to use to clean it... but just be careful with breathing in the fumes from the cleaners/bleach or whatever you're using. I know when SO cleans ours I can't even walk past it it's so strong. So be careful mama!!

I use scrubbing bubbles too! let it sit for a bit and then I use a scrub brush b/c the bottom of my tub has a weird texture and the bristles help clean out all the little nooks and crannies.

scrubbing bubbles has a new stuff I wanna try, the stuff that goes on blue then turns white when it's clean...
it's soap scum, and it's a bitch.

My dad swears by shower power, but it's kind of hard to find.
looks like that, I think they have it at Target.

CLR might work.

I use Kaboooom!

but for really hard grimey shit..
this is probably not good but i use a little draino.
i was draino-ing the drain one day before cleaning..... and i noticed all the grime around the drain where the draino was.. was gone!
so i just use a little bit on a scrub brush for the spots of grimmmmy.. then use a regular cleaner and rinse reallllly well.

but you probably shouldn't do that.
esp pregnant... inhaling the chemicals in draino would be bad news.

so idk

The kind I have smells like someone's getting a perm. It smells gross. But, it works fantastic.

Try using dryer sheets. Honestly! Rub a fabric softener sheet on the dry tub, it should start to come off. If that doesn't work, try using Easy Off Fume Free oven cleaner in the blue can... let it sit for an hour or so then wipe off with dryer sheets. Just make sure it's the fume free. And don't try the draino. It's waaay harsh and too caustic to handle, plus you don't want to mix it with other chemicals.

yeah thats why i said not to do it since she's pregnant.

i prob shouldn't do it either ... i dont on my tub now b/c it stays fairly clean, but wher ei used to live, that tub was grosss and my ex would get SO dirty at work and NEVER rinse the tub after showering.... so i used draino one day and it got his nasty dirt up.... haha.

prob shouldn't suggested it. but hey.. whatevah.

I didn't even think about her being preggo. Maybe a magic eraser would work. I know they work wonders on marks on the walls.

Silly story, but my uncle used to soak his canvas sneakers in draino &* water overnight then wash them... didn't tell my grandma he was doing it... then got these awful sores all ever his feet. She took him to the doctor who figured out they were chemical burns. My uncle finally fessed up... and got totally yelled at.
