I'm finally gaining weight!

and feeling better!

After having my son I was diagnosed with Hyperthyriodism and Anemia.
I went from my average pp of 110lbs (I'm 5'4") to a shocking 97bs. Everyone just commented on how great it was that I lost all of my 150lbs of pregnancy weight..while I have been very miserable. If I don't eat several small meals through out the day, I can actually lose quite a bit of weight.
I haven't felt physically well in quite sometime. I'm constantly tired. Due to Hyperthyriodism I can't even take adult dosages of most medications..my metabolism is so high that I have crazy reactions to even over the counter medication. I also haven't felt very self-confident being so thin...( I know..strange).

Well finally we have my medications regulated and I was weighed yesterday at my Drs I am finally back to my normal weight of 110lbs. I am so happy. I finally feel better all around!

Im about to go get a blood test to see if I have hypothyroidism.
Im glad to hear youre doing well! A lot of my family has had thyroid issues, and I know how hard it can be.

ETA: about the only symptom I dont have is weight gain

I have the same thyroid disease as well! What medications did they put you on? Did you start to ID treatment or was it oral medication?

The only thing that has helped me gain weight so far is depo provera shot. i start ID treatments soon and im VERY excited. Im up to 110 after getting down to 90 pounds after i had kristen

OP.. how did they test you to determine your *thyroidism* (that sounds weird.. but I dont know how else to word it... LOL)

its a blood test... they check the level of your thyroid hormones

I mean my doctor handed me a prescription looking thing that said I needed to get this blood test, and said to take it to the lab to get my blood work done. I never thought I had it until she mentioned it
