Bummer :(

We were planning on adopting a cute gray kitten on Saturday. I talked to the shelter and figured it was going to be there. I look today and he is off the list. So I don't know if they took him off because I said we were going to get him on Saturday or if he was adopted. They are closed today so I can't call and make sure.

Either way, I guess I need to look at others! We will get a kitten Saturday no matter what, lol.

I found these two - they are a bit younger than the cat we orginally wanted (He was 13 weeks old)

This one is about 9-10 weeks old now

What do you think? The girl or the boy?

The only thing about this place is I am not sure if they are fixed yet or not. The adoption fees cover it though..but I would rather have one that is already fixed and everything. That way we can get it that day instead of waiting.

I usually absolutely despise cats, but that black ball of fluff is pretty darn handsome! I say him.

If he is 11 weeks old..do you thing his eye color will change? I know that they are all born with blue eyes..not sure when they actually change.

They're both cute but I like the female! Oh and they are two young to already be fixed, you will probably have to take either one of them back to get it done.

yea he is adorable..i love long haired cats..but their hair realllly bothers me so i cant have one

I'm for the black one as well...he is what I imagine my old cat looked like as a kitten. He was the best cat in the world, but he adopted us when he was a few years old...he sadly passed away in February. Damn...I miss him!

his eyes will probably stay that blue...if they were going to change they would have done it before eight weeks or so

I know, me too! I emailed them though to see what was up...I should know by tomorrow if they took him off because we planned on adopting him...or if he was adopted yesterday. I think he was though.

In my experience with cats - the boys tend to be more mellow and laid back.

My mom has a female cat and she is a little priss. Sometimes she doesn't like to be bothered with. My boy cat that I used to have was the SWEETEST thing.
