Quoting ♥Ericka♥:“ okay so I know I've seen it somewhere but I can't find the thread that has the medications that are safe ... [snip!] ... I'm not sure if I have a cold or if it's just allergies, but I need something to bring me back to life.... Help me!!”Robotussum, sudafed, and benedryl can all be taken, but you should be aware that anything with antihystimines (sp?) will cause your milk production to decrease though this can parrtially be offset by increasing your fluid intake. You should not take anything with ibprofen (motrim)or naproxium sodium (aleeve) in it. Hope you feel better soon.

Antihistamines can affect supply in some people, but not nearly as dramatically as Sudafed, which in my case straight up zapped my milk supply with my second and is given to women who need to reduce their supply when nothing else is working. I have to take antihistamines daily, and have with all my kids, with no effect on my milk supply, so I'm one of the lucky ones on which it doesn't reduce supply.
Quoting his wifey, their mommy:“ www.kellymom.com is a very good resource for that Have you tried looking there?”

Turns out I worked out too hard yesterday morning (and forgot about the work out, I am such a ditz at times). Luckily I took tylenol last night instead of the sudafed b/c of the antihistiamines. Thanks for your input here, I hate that there are so many sources of contradictory information. I have used LactaMed (but a question for it, I have only had success looking up the active ingredients) am I missing an important search function?

I know that Kellymom always says "Per Hale" and the Hale she is talking about is the man who runs the lactmed info.
