swine flu (h1n1)

have any of you gotten your toddlers vaccinated?
and were there any bad side effects or anything?
im so freaked out that my son could get it, but i dont know how i feel about the vaccine.

id prefer to hear from people with kids around his age. hes two =) thankss!!

i dont even do the reg flu shot

In australia you can't get anyone under 10 vaccinated for it but the parents of children under 10 are recomended to get it. Im getting it next week and i breastfeed so that should pass the immunity onto my daughter

This h1n1 is really starting to scare me, i took my daughter to school today an was informed that a kid her in class mother has passed away from the h1n1..... i still am not sure to get the shotfor my daughter or not...

i dont get him seasonal flu shots, but im alot more freaked out about swine flu. out of all of the deaths from it in michigan, 5 were in my area. uggh.

Aydin has H1N1 right now. He's fine. I would never get the vaccine.

I was adamant that I was not going to get my kids vaccinated for H1N1.
Then my SIL told me about my nephews cousin (12 yo from RI) that died from it in 4 days.
I ended up caving into the panic and getting my 1 yo and almost 3 yo vaxed this past Monday.
I was and still am very concerned about the safety of the vax.
My lo's had no real side effects the first day, but last night my 3 yo did have a slight fever and sneezing (she had the Flumist)
I'm still not sure if I did the right thing or not.

There are way more deaths from the seasonal flu every year.

personally i like to be cautious, i get the seasonal jag every year and last flu season i was pregnantat the usual timeand still got it(after checking with my doc that it was fine) my daughter was born right in the middle of winter so it was important to me that she be safe from it.
