Stay or Go

My apt lease will end on 02/09/2010.........

I really like my apartment and the neighborhood but I have a dilemma. #1 I work full time and my job is 30 minutes away from my apt. My daughter's Day care is right next to my job (thank God!) So that is a +......... Anyway, I was thinking about moving near my job since I travel there every day monday-friday, but currently I live right next to my College which is good for class but I only attend twice a week.

Would you move closer to your work?

If you work more than you go to school.

i would probablymove closer to your work.
i go to school everyday and my college is about 35 minutes away from my apartment   so i can relate!

I would say it depends on how ur doing financially if you can afford to do the drive and you like the apt I would stay but I know if it was me gas is pretty high here and i couldnt afford to do it

i just wanna move period. but i cant afford anything really more than this. id need a roommate. but i dont think anyone wants to live with a baby.

Thats my problem! I LOVE my apt! And the Area is Amazing........ So I don't want to move. Those are the only pros......... My apartment is expensive so that is what is causing me to want to move.

You never know. Have you searched on room mates.com. They specifically ask the living arrangements you need.

i live in these ghetto ass apartments where they do inspections once a month. i always get voliated. i get one more and im kicked out  

I would move closer to your work since you travel there 5 days a week and with gas prices it would be cheaper to live closer since you only have class 2 times a week

yep. my lease isnt up till feb. but like my rent now is 462 for a 1bdrm. their 2s are 507. but i dont think i wanna renew my lease. the other low-income apartments are 580+...my paychecks are like 520 every 2wks   and i get no child support.

Depends.
Would the apt near your work end up being more expensive?
Would the gas saved by not driving to and from work NOW make up the difference?

Ahhh.
If the apt you move INTO would be less expensive...then that's kind of a deal sealer.
you'd be saving money on the apt AND on gas.
