They don't want special rights. My best friends who are gay would just like to know that if something happens to M, G will still have rights to her child. That if M is in the hospital she can actually go see her. That's what they want. Its not about being special its about the simple things that straight couples don't even thing about. If I was in ICU my husband could come back no problem, if M was in ICU G would have to have some kind of paperwork saying that she could come back.Its not fair or right. If everyone else in the world is "equal" then why aren't they in the least?
