Contraction Timing Question and Eating Question

So, do my contractions end when I stop feeling pain or when my stomach stops feeling really hard? I stop feeling pain first...but it stays pretty firm for another 15-20 seconds...I don't know if it even matters either way, I'm just sitting here with nothing to do but think...

Secondly, my contractions are about 3 minutes apart now, can I eat? I'm huuungry. Or will I REALLY regret it later if I eat anything?

EAT !!! - nibble at bits though dont have a huge meal or you might be seeing it again lol
once you get to the hospital they wont let you have anythhing until baby is born.

i never timed my contractions so i cant help there but if u feel like eating now then DO IT  
u will need your energy when your in labour!

Thanks   that's the site I've been using   I am all digital and don't have ONE clock that works with a second hand, hahaha, it's pathetic, I just don't know quite when to hit the stop button.

And thanks, I didn't know they wouldn't let you eat, that would be a nightmare! I am awful when I'm hungry, I can't imagine that paired with LABOR, my husband would be scared, haha.

The midwife said to time them from the moment your belly gets hard until its completely gone again. From the time it started to the time it starts again is how far apart they are or something like that. Send me some contractions, pleaseee?
