Tylenol Isn't a Magical Cure!

I just called the hospital labor and delivery and I could hear cartoons on in the back. I told them my symptoms and they tell me to pop a tylenol and everything will be fine. That was awhile ago...My lower back pain has increased in pain it keeps getting worse. It comes and goes and can only be relieved by getting on all fours. I feel like screaming I asked if I should come in and get checked and the lady chuckled and said no and it sounded like she was eating potato chips and laughing with some people in the background  Now I am sitting at the computer with a huge pillow in pain trying to figure what to do....I just hated being treated like crap hey my boob fell off pop a tylenol man I need sleep 

Are you contracting or does your back just hurt?

I'd go in anyways. The L&D nurse here blew me off because I wasn't "in labor enough". I was a 3rd time c-section mama and it was dangerous for me to be in any kind of labor. My incision almost ruptured and my doctor tore the nurse a new one.

That is exactly what my back labors felt like(both of them). IMO you should go in and get checked.

Yea I feel like ripping this nurse a new one I feel like by breakfast time I will have delivered my baby at home if I listen to her..This back pain is no joke I feel like breaking chairs and screaming

I would go in anyways. The nurses in CO Springs suck, lol. I had bad experiences with them also.

Put a heating pad on your back. (Not your belly)

She gave me the impression that I was annoying her like she was avoiding at all costs to tell me to come in. I here ya but I have no choice 

what about calling your doc?
Or go in to the hospital
It's better to be safe and called "paranoid" than going into labour and waiting too late at home

Yea I think I will try that I'm starting to panic it hurts so bad thanks for the suggestion. It's like 5:15am now so around 7am I will probably go in if it doesn't let up

you phone her back and if she is the same you tell her straight that she is a nurse there to look after pregnant woman not sit around eatting chips and watching tv.
you stand you ground and get the treatment you deserve!!!

I go to a military hospital they told me if any problems arise to call labor and delivery right away...I usually go into OB/GYN but they are closed until 8am and it's 5:18am so I'm kinda stuck

I tried calling back to ask again about the back pain they didn't answer. How can there not be anyone on the floor to answer the phone?

ohhhh..ok well call back or go in to them then..you may be in early labour
