Prayers needed, Preterm Labor, 24 weeks

I went into labor at 24 weeks, All my tests have
came back okay, so they dont know why. But I got
dialated to 4 cm before they stopped me. I had to be careflighted
to Miami Valley Hospital. I'll be here til i have him. Which they dont
think will be too long. They gave me shots to develope his lungs quicker.
And i'm on meds to stop contactions. Which were 11 min apart at the hospital.
I guess i'm in like an intensive care type deal room. If everything is good today
they might take me off my meds and switch me to a more stable room. I'm not
allowed getting up at all. I have a cath. They said he'll be here til around his due date. Which is gonna be terrible going home without him. And living an hour away, makes it hard. But whatever is best for him. just please keep us in your prayers. I appreciate so much.

Good luck to you. Don't lose hope yet, he could still stay in there for a bit longer. Have you gotten both rounds of steroids or just one?

Hey mama, I'm in a similar situation. I'm 24 weeks as well and just got my second steroid injection this afternoon. They know she will be early but they aren't sure exactly how early. If it comes down to it I'll be flighted out to St. Mary's in grand Junction. I hope everything turns out okay. Keep us updated.

Good luck! Hopefully the meds will help him stay in longer. I had a placental abruption at 16 weeks and they transfered me to a different hospital an hour away after spending 2 months in the first hospital because they wanted to take her at 24 weeks. They didn't but I know how scary it is to not know whats gonna happen and when, they didn't expect either of us to live so just remember theres always hope! I had my first daughter at MVH when we still lived in Ohio, it's a great hospital!
