Plug

Okay so I've been having contractions since 3 am and I have in and out of the bathroom trying to poo. And I just got out and there was a couple drips of blood nothing major coming out and I was wondering if that's the start of my plug coming out.

youre getting close.. that could be your bloody show, or whatever they call it! My mom told me that if you start feeling like you gotta poop, along with those other symptoms, you're getting close... so LABOR DUST TO YOU**********

Yeah it feels like I gotta poo every five mins. And the pains mostly in my tummy and hips. I feel like I'm dying!

if your pooping loads or being sick its normal at the start of labour, its your bodys way of clearing everything out of the way ready for the birth.

Im not pooping a lot. Just a little but everytime I go in. And it keeps feeling like I have to pee...Even though when I go in only a drip comes out. When a contraction hits I kinda feel like I'm going to puke.

have you been timing your contractions?
you maybe only pooping and peeing a bit at a time b/c baby is so low down that its blocking all your pipes so only a bit can get out at a time.

Well when I pee I cry because it hurts so bad. There's so much pressure when I try peeing I have to scream. And it only keeps getting worse. Mostly it's my hips that's where I mostly feel the contractions.
They were 7 mins apart at 3 am but now they're more I think or maybe 6. I'm not really sure.

I think they're still 7 mins apart. Is that possible since they were 7 mins apart at 3 am?

What are your plans for where the baby will be born?

It can shift *quick*...it did for me. It was the same for a few hours until it wasn't...haha...really, you may be in active labor now, and the baby could be here in 4 hours. That's how it was for me.

That is a very scary thought! Lol.. I think I might panic. Do I have time to panic! Haha. Oh boy...I have no idea what I'm going to do. She was suppose to wait till Friday!!

They last about a minute or a minute and a half too.

Do you know what a great, amazing thing it is that you weren't quite sure if this was labor? This is it! It gets more intense, but you can handle it! Contractions never last longer than a minute and a half, so here's the thing: you are in active labor.

If you were planning on having this baby at the hospital, you should think about when you're going to go.
