Hmm...Odd behavior...

posted 4th Nov
My Princess is 9 months old today, and for the last couple of weeks her bedtime sleeping patterns have been way off, and tonight, she has woken up 3 times already...and i have to go shop in the morning, LOL, im not complaining, mind you, Im just saying. But when i tried to put her down so i could make her a bottle, she FLIPPED and screamed this horribly depressing scream, like she thought i would leave her forever or something.....poor little angel....

Do your babies do this sometimes??

Do you mean drive you crazy because they wont sleep? YESS!!!!
lol.

My 10 month old usually goes to bed anywhere from 10pm - 12am. Usually about 11pm. HOWEVER, for a week she fought sleep and missed a nap everyday so when I put her down at 10 or 11, she thought it was nap time and was up in an hour and ready to play! She's been staying up until 3AM.

She would wake up around 12AM, stand up in her crib and whine. I went in there one night and in frustration whispered "go back to sleep" and she shook her head no!

Finally, last night and tonight I got her back on track.

That very well could be whats going on...I mean, i know her restlessness is from the teething, but ive never thought of her reaction when i put her down as being from teeth....Poor little thing...She must have thought i would abandon her or something...it kills me when she screams like that....

My daughter is a couple days away from being 11 months old and she has problems.

We are trying to get her to sleep in her play pin at night and it's hard. I've had to learn to let go of my anti-CIO ways. She has always slept in bed with mama and dada, and now she is sleeping in her pin in our room.

She will wake up 1 to 3 times a night and just scream for me over and over or for her dada. and It breaks my heart having to do it to her. But she needs to learn to sleep on her own, not to mention, she needs to finally be put on a scedule (sp?)

I let Adina CIO sometimes, but after a bit of time, i have to go in there...It was bad when she first saying Mama...She ALWAYS did it when she knew it would get me to break down and give in...She KNOWS...kids are devious, HAHAHHAHAAA

All I could do at that point was laugh. I had spent an hour putting her to sleep that night.

I just stopped fighting it though and let her naturally go back to her schedule. I realized getting frustrated over it wasn't going to do either of us any good and im anti-CIO.. plus I stay up till 2AM anyway, lol.

And she is teething. So that could be the problem.

And you still stay up past 2AM, huh? lol

Sometimes I think I should go to bed at the same time as my LO but I love my alone time.

lol Our babies do sound alike. My LO smacks me to wake me up in the morning. We cosleep and if she wakes up before me and sees im asleep, she cant stand it. I usually wake up to her face about an inch from my face and smacking my head, lol.
