I had to work with my son for a couple weeks to get his latch perfect. It's not always easy but if you want to do it just make sure you're more stubborn than he is.

How old is he now?

When he tries to latch how much nipple is he getting?

When you pump are you still getting any milk?

How is his weight?

Try a clinic... My gf was having the same problem and the clinic helped her almost immediately!

A lot of it may be your frustrations rubbing off on each other, which makes it harder for both of you.

Good luck mama!

You are so right they know when you get frustrated especially whenit comes to bf n your lo. I had bf my son for the first three months and i congradulate you for even making a attempt to give him that good breastmilk. Im not sure if you have a WIC office in your area but if you do go to them and ask them for help because thats who helped me through it. I would have someone with experience show you how to get him to latch properly so that when he do it the latch together he will do it right and it wont hurt you because if he latch on wrong trust me when i tell you thats a painful feeling. Now as far as the production of your milk the best way for me to get my milk to come down was to take a hot shower and let the water hit your breast which will help the milk come down another way is idk if anyone have mentioned this to you but you can massage your breast like your trying to push the milk down and slowly is should start coming out idk how old the baby is so maybe that have something to do with it

Good luck mama and dont give up you can do it just be patient with lil man and yourself

How is breastfeeding going? Do you have any questions or need any help? You can ask questions on this thread if you need tohttp://forum.baby-gaga.com/about715782.html

Hope you aren't suppplementing with too much formula or else you supply will dry up.

Try using a nipple shield temporarily (a week or two) until he gets better at latching. You can see the lactation consultant from the hospital you gave birth at, too. They will just charge your insurance (even the state insurance if that's what you have)
