Medical Assistant??

I was thinking about going back to school for Medical Assistant. I have my cosmetology license and do aesthetics. Eventually I'd like to use my certifications together to work in a med spa doing peels and laser treatments.
Is anyone on here a medical assistant?? Do you know around what they make??

I hear they make about 10-11 bucks to start off, I'm not one, but thought about going before so that's how I know every state may vary though.

hmmm...thats lower than what i make now...but...since i have experience and it's a med spa hopefully i'll get paid well...or get comission on top of a base pay.

yea, they don't make a lot, 10-14 depends on the place and what they are willing to pay.

I'm going to school to be an MA. I actually graduate next month. How much money you make depends on what you do.

If you draw blood(phlebotomy) you make starting 16$.

If you work in a doctors office, its usually around 10-12$ and you work it up

If you work in a hospice or at home care, you can make as low as 8$/hour, but up to salary too.

It varies. I love it though.
