Just need to vent.

I'm sorry I have not introduced myself, I'm kind of just poking in to vent as I may not be pregnant, although I am on the waiting game right now. I have known this site to be helpful so I thought I would try.

I may or may not be pregnant, I know you cannot tell me, but again, just blowing off steam as the nerves are getting the best of me.

I went to the Women's clinic today because of spotting and light bleeding I have been experiencing. They said the two things on the top of the list are pregnancy or just a "weird period." Here are the details:

I have a 23-25 day cycle. My last one was 10/15/09. It only lasted about 2 1/2 days (normally 4-6). My breasts were unusually swollen and sore for over a week after my cycle ended and even others were noticing. I have been experiencing Extreme irritability, to the point of some people are not wanting to "bother" me lol. I was thinking it was weird that I was having odd "pms" even though my cycle ended. I am very "normal" so to speak with cycles. Then I start spotting! On CD 16?!?!?! What the heck?? light bleeding follows over the next 2 days, then nothing. So here I am with the advice from my GYN to wait until my next cycle and see if it shows. SHe wants me to wait a week and test. Since my bf and I were not trying, she said it wasn't necessary to take a blood test (especially because it's so early). I have POAS and of course negative....although I was naughty and read it way after the time limit so we can just disregard that positive ;). Oh and my bf and I have been using the pull out method successfully for 3 years now.

So there's my book of a story.....thanks for whoever reads this, although I don't expect much advice  , just feels good to get it out.

I'm so scared to get my hopes up, but I just have that "feeling" you know? Thanks for the welcome, although, we will have to wait til the end of the week to know if I'm staying! haha  

Welcome! My fiancee and I used the pull out method successfully for 5 years or more now total.......I got pregnant and he didn't pull out that time. We were not trying but ok if it happened and it did.

I would wait a week or so and test again and see what happens. I was so tired and my nerves were on edge and I was such a bitch. I felt like normal PMS happening but then if never actually happened so I took a test and sure enough!! I have a 29-30 day cycle typically and I remember having what I thought was a period but it was spotting for a couple days about 2 weeks before I tested and then one day I just had this weird inclination to test and it was positive I was actually shocked but the spotting must have been implantation.

Yes I find it nice when the man can control it eh ;). However, we're thinking something might have slipped through. Anyone going through the waiting game for testing? Or maybe have experienced light bleeding out of the norm from their period (and week + early)?

when is your period due exactly? The bleeding may have been implantation. Mine as light pink, did not fill a tampon but I though it was my period so I wore them and they would come out with nothing on them so when I would not wear one and wipe it would be pinkish some......for me it was implantation!

My period isn't due until 11/6 or the 7th. I've never had spotting or bleeding more than 2 days early before. I had enough bleeding for a light pad for 2 days, but now nothing. Doc says she want's me to start planned expectancy just in case, she's putting it in the lead for why i had spotting/light bleeding. All the dates work out.... we weren't trying, but would be happy if I was preg.

What's weird is that I have thought I was pregnant in the past, but turned out to be pms, but this time, I just FELT it. Like I told myself I had to wait til this cycle to see what happens, because things were just too....weird? Then I had several ppl ask if I was pregnant???? what the heck?!?! lol. I'm cramping lightly (during the bleeding no cramping)

I've had cramping, swollen tender sensitive breasts, diarrhea (tmi sorry!!), BAD gas (poor BF!), slight nausea, can't sleep, hot flashes, moodiness, irritability. spotting/light bleeding.....bfn  

CD 1 (10/15)- Period light
CD2-Period Light
CD3-spotting
(skipping ahead)
CD16 (10/30)-Spotting
CD17-Light bleeding (no cramps)
CD18-Light bleeding (no cramps..some nausea) BFN
CD19-nothing (spotting after sex)
CD20-nothing (doc apt..suggests waiting a week, cramps.)

Hope I did that right lol
