1st time flu shot?

Richard is getting his regualr flu shot tomorrow! Can anyone give me a heads up on any side effects, like fever or anything like that? Just trying to get a heads up before he goes in tomorrow, Thanks

He'll get one shot now that's a half dose and then 4 weeks from now he'll need to go back and get the 2nd shot (they dothat b/c of egg allergies according to my pedi's office). My DD had no reactions to it, but they give you a handout to read about the shot and possible reactions prior to giving the shot out (at least at all the offices I've ever taken my LO's to)

Think more about it before you make your final decisson.

my dr gave my 1 1/2 year old one shot and she spiked a fever that night, but it was gone in the morning

My son never had any side effects from his shots. Usually just some redness/soreness at the injection site.

Nobody in my family has EVER gotten a flu shot.

my son got a small fever so for his second one i gave him tylenol before and he was fine

Yeah we were gonna name him Bishop Paul, but DH's momma came up with the name Richard Emiliano, DH's grandfather (Richard) and My ancestor (Emiliano Zapata)
