question about a baby swing?

posted 3rd Nov
My son has a baby swing and according to the box it says at 19.8 pounds so basically 19 pounds that he will weigh to much to use it the problem I have is he is only 2 months he will 3 months on the 9th and he weighs almost 14 pounds. What can I get after his swing that can rock him or is something like a swing he has pretty good head control but still wouldnt want anything that did not support his neck and head? Any ideas would be great.

You can get a swing that hold up to 35lbs if I'm not mistaken

My swing goes to i think 25.....Also i hove the chair she is talking about but my moms friend works for a school with kids that are mentaly hanicaped and puting them in the cair for long periods can deform the back of there head and make it so it is FLAT and cause problems

Mine says it goes to 25 but I know it wouldn't work good then. And als even a swing can make a baby's shead flat. You have to give them tummy time and move them around at times to prevent that.

I got away without using one. I just couldn't see myself spending that kind of money they only use for 6 months. Plus around that age they are ready to get up and go, start crawling and climbing stuff my daughter would not sit still in one of those, I'de be afraid she'd try to get out while it was swinging. Sorry, I'm not help lol

No I don't think so. Not all babies get it it's just so much more prevelant bc they have so much more time on their heads. Buty it's fixable with a helmet where SIDS or Suffocation is a major risk so I think it'll stay back to sleep.
