Mirena Fell Out?

Has anyone's mirena fell out? was it painful? Were you bleeding a lot before?t
Mine JUST fell out in the shower...i have been bleeding since i got it put in, on August 29th,i stopped bleeding for maybe a total of 7 days all together but not all at once... maybe a day or 2 here and so on....

Mine hasnt but now Im freaked out that it could ahhh

maybe thats your body rejecting a foriegn object???

I had mine taken out because I bled the entire 5 mths I had it in with a break of maybe 2 days in that 5 mths.

yeah, theses Mirena and IUD and Nuva Rings freak me out... I'm gonna stick to the pill  

I've had mine since March and it has not fallen out. Sometimes I wonder if that will happen though  

mine didn't fall out, but i had it taken out. i hated it. after the bleeding finally stopped (after 3 months)...i think it may have moved or something, cause i started to get hot flashes, and really bad cramping/pain during sex.

It can fall out? Aw man I was thinking about getting mirena after I have my baby... Maybe I'll look at other forms of birth control

I was in the shower, shaving.... and i felt the strings and they were about, 2 inches out... i was like omg, so i sat on the side of the bath tub, and it fell onto the ground... I was cramping a lot yesterday and today, but now im not cramping or bleeding as much anymore... Im going to call my OB tomorrow and see what he says.. Its not like im having sex so, im not to worried bout the whole pregnancy thing right now, but i liked the idea of having something 5 years without having to remember the pill every stinking day...:sigh:

i hate the side effects of all birth controls. i wish i could fast forward time, to where i'm married, have 1-2 more kids, and the husband is snipped.

Mine fell out the fourth of this month. That day I was cramping and bleeding very badly. Then until last Saturday I thought I was pregnant. I had every symptom. Then I started getting really bad stomach pains. It felt like I was in labor it was so bad. I went to the Er and it was a ruptured cysts.
I'm not saying this will happen to you but I would go into your Ob asap! But get on another BC!! & Use condoms until then.

Well, im not having sex so, like i said.. im not worried bout getting pregnant right now... but i deffinately call my OB in the morning to see what he thinks

I love my mirena I got in March and its been great.I barly have a period as to b4 I had a long 6 day flo. Now Im a 3 day lite flo and no cramps I LOVE IT

Thats what I liked about it too.. maybe I'll ask about implanon (sp?)
