something is wrong with teagan

posted 3rd Nov
his tummy has been bothering him for a few nights now. he strains and gets all upset and then doesn't poo. he'll poo like 2 hours later. and is fussy when he's trying to sleep... he's never fussy only the last few nights and you can tell it's b/c of his tummy. i have to lay him on his side and pat his back til he goes to sleep.
also it seems if i hold him upright on my chest it makes him feel better.
he's gassy too.

what does this all sound like to you ladies?i was thinking maybe constipation but he does eventually poo and it's not hard or anything.

It could just be a lot of gas. Try mycolin drops.

Gripe water worked best for us. The mylicon made it worse

How old is your LO? Colic usually is the worst at around 7 weeks and than gets better. I bought a little baby heating pillow - it helped my LO a lot.

try gas drops or gripe water which ever you find works best. Is he BF or FF?

massage his belly in a clockwise motion.. you can use olive oil for a massage oil.
massage clockwise and then push his knees up to his chest for 5-10 seconds and repeat. it works great. i learned it at an infant massage class.

where can you buy gripe water at? what is it exactly?
does it sound like he's constipated? i am not really sure what the symptoms of constipation are. do they just not poo at all?

also my fiance said he may be lactose intolerant b/c he is. i'm going to call the dr tomorrow and see if there is a test they can do to find out.
but if he were l. intol. wouldn't we have known before now?

We didn't find out ainsley was lactose intolerant for a while. We switched to sensative formula and no problems for almost 8 months.

Fussy, gassy, spitting up, constipated. She just seemed uncomfortable a lot. She was constantly farting and burping.

that sounds exactly like teagan. he has been spitting up alot lately. he used to not do that.

all of those symptoms , he's got them. def i'm asking the dr tomorrow.
and since my fiance is lactose intolorant i know he's got a higher chance.
