is there a name for this?

So when I was giving birth when my placenta came out it was white and decayed looking. It was disinegrating. My doctor never told me the name and I've always been curious. I couldn't find anything on google about it. Did anyone have that and if you did is there a name for it?

Mine was the same way. It was just calicified.
