? for bottle feeding moms

posted 3rd Nov
What do you do when you travel in order to get your bottles clean? At home I use one of those machines which sterelizes them. We are travelling to a third world country soon and I am not sure how I will handle the bottle situation in the hotel. Any advice?

we always just washed them with soap and warm water after each feeding so that is what we did when we traveled as well.

are you worried about contaminated water? I know that vodka is pretty much rubbing alcohol so you could let them sit in that for like 10 minutes then wipe clean. when its dry its not like it would give your baby a buzz or anything. Its pretty much anti-bacterial and its not toxic.

nobody get mad at me okay its not like im suggesting she puts her baby in harms way if she did it right the alcohol would dissipate into the air and she would have clean bottles

but i would do playtex disposables as well.. one less thing to clean you know?

Hmmm, I don´t really want to use the tap water in a third world country. The Playtex inserts sound good. Do they fit into any bottle? I use Dr. Browns

You are still going to have to wash the nipples and rims. Can you buy a sanitizer that works in the microwave?
