Car chase in my neighborhood......

Damn I feel ghetto. I just locked my doors.

I heard the "beep" of a cop car trying to pull somebodie over really close to my house, and then I hear it suuuuper close to my house. I go over to the sliding door look out my window, hear sirens, see the flashing lights zip around the corner and the cop gunning his engine behind the car he's chasing.........nice.

ETA: and me with no hubby coming home tonight.

Right after I had my son there was a chase that ended right in front of my house and the people they were chasing started shooting at the cops!! I was terrified and I live in a nice neighborhood!!

Don't feel bad that happens almost everyday where i live and we usual have a lot of gun shots at night too. It sucks when you have a baby that has to live around this crap.

ha, i went to bowling friday night and i was walking from my car to the building, and i see cop lights in the lot, and i was like, oh sucks for that person. but then i hear the cop yell "TURN OFF YOUR ENGINE NOW" and yelling at the passenger "PASSENGER, WE HAVE A WARRENT FOR YOUR ARREST. GET OUT OF THE CAR NOW, WITH YOUR HANDS VISABLE". so naturally, harlee and i hide behind a car and continue watching. the officer has his gun drawn on the car. and the passenger yells "IM SICK, I NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL. I AM NOT GETTING OUT OF THIS CAR" and the officer yells back he will shot, if the passenger does not co-operate. so the passenger lunges out of the car and yells "YOURE GOING TO HAVE TO FUCKING SHOOT ME, BECAUSE I JUST SHIT MY PANTS AND NEED TO GET TO THE HOSPITAL!" then there were more words exchanged between the officer and the passenger, and he was finally cuffed and taken into custody. but still, a very exciting (i live in a small town, so yes it was exciting) moment.

When Jimmy and I first got married, he got stationed in DC and the first night we spent in our new house I couldn't sleep because all we did was hear GUNSHOTS outside of the gate ALL NIGHT!!
