Whole milk question...

My daughter turned 1 today and her 1 year old check up isn't until nov 20th so I was wondering would it be ok for me to start giving her whole milk or should I wait until the ok from her pedi?

You can start now...I was told to start the transition at 11 months. You do whole milk and formula/ or breastmilk half and half for a week or so then switch completely over.

We didn't wait. We dropped the bottle and started whole milk the week of his 1st.

up to you, you can wait if you would be more comfortable, but i would go ahead- at the very least, start the combo bottles so she starts getting used to the dairy, etc,.

i started thsi week, and i cant seem to get rid of that bottle...ugh

We did not start half and half. We had to start at 2 oz milk/6 oz formula, and gradually up it.
