Seiously, WTF caused this?

Reposted from earlier. If anyone has any possible explanation I would love to hear it.

I was outside having a cig, sitting on my back stair. Like always, I am just gazing around at the trees. I then notice pile of rocks, in a V of a tree, about 4 stories up. WTF? How the hell could rocks get up in a tree. It's a huge pile of about 20-30 rocks. No one could of done it. It's a protected boy scout reservaton, they never are around our property line. And if someone climbed up and down a tree to put rocks in it, a) we would of definitely noticed b) our dogs would of gone nuts. I am stupified

It looks like a squirrel or a raccoon did it...

In all seriousness, the rocks are the size of softballs, footballs, and what we can see 3 or 4 bigger. I think it's an animal but can't see a raccoon or squirrel lugging things like that up. And if anyone knows, why do animals carry rocks up trees? lmao

I honestly don't think a raccoon or a squirrel would lug those up a tree

we only have deer, birds, wild turkeys, possums, raccoons, squirrels and a rare coyote

raccoons might be able to do that... I've seen some raccoons as big as german shepherd (no joke) and with their little opposable thumbs, I can see them doing that....

yes the will raccoons anyway, i used to have 5 raccoons and they would do this sort of thing all the time...why i have no idea but this is what they do..lol

I used to think they were cute until I witnessed 5 big males essentially gang raping a little female raccoon... she was screaming, it was so sad
