Raccoons are AMAZINGLY strong...you should have seen the stuff they would get into at our house...they have even been known to break safes and padda locks..its crazy!! they can carry the rocks with with their forepaws and climb with only the back ones!!! they are EXTREMELY smart as well..

The pics look exactly like the tree in my backyard. Our squirrels did it.
