Hi All. I haven't bee on much this past week, but I'm doing better after our miscarriage at 9weeks. Now, though not too obsessively, I'm thinking about how long I realistically want to wait before ttc again. My OB said to wait three months for the best bet that the next one will stick, but some online sources just suggest waiting for AF to come at least once. Please include how long it took you to get pregnant, whether your baby was sticky that time, and whether you were actively ttc again or i something slipped through ;). Thanks ladies, just eager to have a healthy baby.

It took me a year to get pregnant. I was trying 6 months after my m/c.

Every body is different. WhenIhad my m/c I got pregnant a week later

My doc said they normally tell you to wait so that you have a cycle date that they can base your EDD on if you get preggo. I only had one period after my m/c before we got preggo. Now.. I dunno if my pregnancy complications were because I got pregnant so quickly or not, could've just been my luck (I had Placenta Previa and Pre Eclampsia) but... I now have a very healthy happy almost 5 month old girl.

You are the only one who knows when you are emotionally ready to TTC again.. and your body knows when you are physically ready. *hugs* I'm really sorry for what you've been through.. no momma should have to live through that. Best wishes TTC"ing when you decide to hun

I think she meant how long before they started trying, I could be wrong though

i misscarried april 24th 2009 at 7 weeks and found out i was preganat again on may 26th 2009.....my dr suggested wait to have 1 period and then i could try again if i wanted and i never got a period after the misscarriage.........good luck to you on gettting you bfp!

Oh, thank you for your concern and support ladies, but I wasn't asking when I myself would get a BFP, I'm just curious about ttcing and actually getting pregnant because I do know a lot of ladies on the site who got pregnant the month after a m/c and wanted to know how common it was to NOT wait the (sometimes) recommended 3 months.

I miscarried in July this year. I have yet to get pregnant again   Still hoping though!
