Baby Aspirin.

I've been seeing some women say they take baby aspirin while TTC. I've been doing some googling about it, but have been reading conflicting stuff. So, I have a couple questions.

What exactly is the benefit of taking baby aspirin while TTC? How much should be taken, and when in your cycle should you start taking it (i.e. around ovulation?).

From what I've read it can help with implantation, but other than that I can't much more info. TIA!

I took it to prevent another miscarriage. I have a genetic tendency to clot, and it caused 2 miscarriages. Started on the aspirin and had a baby.

81 mg everyday.

I was on baby aspirin from the time my doctor confirmed my pregnancy till I was 36 weeks pregnant. I had a previous miscarriage though so this was a way to prevent another miscarriage caused by passing a clot to my baby. It was never proved I had any clotting issues, but my doctor wanted me to take it anyway. I was also on vaginal progesterone pills. I never heard that it would help you to conceive, maybe just to prevent a miscarriage for when you got pregnant.

I gave it a try for 2 cycles, and didn't get preggo, so I quit taking it. It just helps blood flow to the uterus. Only take 81 mg a day, no more. I started taking it as soon as AF left, and took it up to about 10 dpo. If you try it, and get a BFP I would stop taking it when you find out, unil you consult your doctor about it.

I don't think I'm going to take it, I was just curious what the correlation was between aspirin and TTC. But yeah, from the replies I got on here and what I've googled it's commonly recommended to women who've had previous miscarriages.

yeah I agree. Unless you've been told in the past that your blood is thicker than normal, I wouldn't bother with it. I know a few people who just happend to take it for one cycle and got preggo, but I honestly think it was just a coincedence. I dunno. The only thing I noticed was that it made my AF hang around for longer....which was not cool with me! Good luck though momma!!

Ugh, I would not like that, lol.
I am trying PreSeed this month, so hopefully I get lucky with that!

I think I'm going to go back to the PreSeed this cycle too, I didn't use it last cycle. I also recommend using the Instead Softcups!! They are fabulous! You can buy them at walmart for super cheap! I'm a big fan!
