Should I get induced? Help please

So I'm 2cm dilated and 50% effaced whichI know meansI could still have 2 weeks before she gets here my doctor asked ifI want to be induced next week but I'm scared I've never been induced I dont know what to expect shouldI just wait another couple of weeks or what happens when you get induced ? is itvery different from just going into labor on your own? I dont nowI'm just new to to the being inducedprocessI heard you could end up needing a c section is that true?

There is about an increase of 60% for a csection with inductions. I personally would wait until 42 weeks, if baby isnt here by then....then yes, you should probably be induced. But give your body time. A due date is just an estimate anyway...

u can prob wait one week, i was induced it was ok but i had a csection

I would schedule it for the 6th or after. My induction was 10 days past my due date and I was already almost 5 cm and 90% when I walked into the hospital. I really had no business still being pregnant. My induction was amazing and I'd do it again in a heart beat.

Wow yea i dont mind waiting as long as the baby is ok i really dont want a c section unless i have to get one i have absolutely Nothing against women who want,get, or need a c section though i just prefer vaginal delivery

I am trying for a VBAC because I really dont want another csection.

Because it was the worst experience of my life and I have had 4 other surgeries and need a back surgery. I am not as scared of my back surgery as I am of a repeat csection.

My incision opened up 2 weeks after and my poor husband had to stuff it with packing gauze. It was just horrible. I was in so much pain and I handle pain very well.

DAMN!!! she can stay in for an extra 5 i am not tryin to have my stomach randomly open up wow!! im sorry u went through that i pray i dont need one now man!!

Stephaniehad two c-sections and both came out fine. You can't really see her scar anymore either. She wasn't even sore after. But it all depends on your doctor and hospital I guess. She went to UTMB. (I personaly don't like that hospital but everything came out fine w/ tammie and steph)
Her second c-section was induced.
Idk about her 1st.

Lol, it's ok!
I would be too. But if it had to happen, then so be it. I'm just scared of not being able to feel my body and knowing that my tummy is all cut open!!!
Plus, I've never had a surgery before so that makes it even more scary!
