My child was attacked

On sunday I took my daughter (4, 5 on the 14th) to a soft play centre with my step son (9) to spend some of their Halloween money in the big climbing area.

Before our time was up my daughter was grabbed by two other boys (my SS says were a bigger than him so about 12 or over) they then grabbed her t shirt telling her she was a baby and they wanted her to pull her pants down trying to pin her to the floor. She managed to get up and push them off, but they grabbed her again telling her to show them her pants and they would let her go, my step son seen this ran off to get us but decided he needed to go back and try help her himself incase we wereto late.

My daughter came to me more upset by the fact they hurt her and didn't understand about what had actually happened.

I told the staff, who looked for five minutes then said they most of gone sorry about that.

Since involving the police, the manager who took 2 days to get back to me, has said my daughter and step son are lairs and te police basically said that a 4 year old could have made it up. 

I am at my wits end what to do, I know the my kids are not lying I think I need to either go to the papers about this lack of care for my kids safty and a solicitor to make my voice heard.

The police said not to make this personal, how can it not be went my little girl was attacked by two older
Boys.

I want people to be warned about how this place react this behaviour.

write a letter to the local newspaper and keep it anonymous....

holy shit im so sorry im glad your child is ok , i would go to the police again and demand they deal with it give a description of the boys and if not threaten to go to the paper .
also with the company about this too

That is so horrible! I am glad to hear that your daughter is at least physically okay.
I would go to the newspapers if the place didn't try to do anything about it.

i would take it further and tell the police they need to do something about it.My 13 year old on was attacked recently by a guy in a park who thought it was ok to throw my son around .Luckly my son had his wits about him to gets the guys car reg this guy is now in court in December.If the police don't do anything go to the papers the police hate bd press pluss so will the place your children where playing.

I am so glad she is okay, and I am SO happy she doesn't really understand so hopefully she won't have any long term complications from it. =[

I wouldn't know what to do in that situation. I would just be persistent with the police and maybe even take the story to a news station.

the police have the description of them from both children. But
the police are telling me they made it up wen I see the boy leave just before my daughter came down.

The company are blaming my son for not protecting his sister. 9 and mature he is but he is alsostill a child.

Go to the papers. I would want to know if that happened at my play center, bc that would no longer be my play center!

I think you have a duty as a mother to you're own child, since no one else wants to defend her, but to all children. Bc thats what mother's do. You know that place is unsafe, that them boys got away with it. If parents aren't watching they go get a little girl down to her panties, touch her even. They could come back, they think its ok bc they didn't get in trouble. You need to warn parents so they can be extra careful. Wouldn't you want to know had it not happened to your chid??
