confused

So, my Dr put me on a low dose BC pill in June after having a horrible experience with the nuva ring. I loved the new BC, only problem was I was having two periods. One in the middle of my BC pack (at the end of the month around the 28th)and a small one at the end of the pack (around the 17th of the following month). Last month after I finished my pack of pills (around the 17th)I decided to wait until I had the "heavy real-like" period around the 29th ofoctoberto start taking the pills again so that I would only have one period at the end of my pills and not one in the middle. Well, I stopped taking them on the 17th of octoberand havent had a period yet. Not only did I not have oneat the end of my pills like youre supposed to, but I havent had one on my usual 29th day of the month either.My husband and I decided that if I did get preggo during the time I was off the pills it would be fine, but now we just dont know and it's driving us crazy. I've taken 3 tests since the 29th of october and they were all negative. What's going on??? This might be a little confusing so let me know if you need clarification. Thanks, Shay

My period stopped for almost 3 months when I stopped taking the pill... It's normal

I got pregnant the same week i stopped taking the pill but didnt find out till i was around 7 weeks along

it just strikes me as weird that my body would not have a period at the end of my BC cycle like it was supposed to. That's the part that doesnt make sense to me the most
