Sleeping through the night?

posted 3rd Nov
My daughter is 14 months old, and she still has a hard time sleeping through the night. She lays down between 9-10 pm every night, and usually wakes up twice by 8 am. Is there anything I can do to help her start sleeping through the night? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

A warm bath and calm environment before bedtime. Turn the lights down, turn the volume on the tv down or off. Read a book or whatever. Just try a routine at bedtime to calm her down.

She gets a bath before bedtime, and we always read her favorite book. We do the things she likes, but nothing works. I'm really hoping something changes. We've asked the doctor, but he says it's normal for some babies?

Yes. That's the only way she'll go back to sleep. She screams if I don't.

My son is almost 11 months and he still wakes up about 3 times a night. He goes to bed about 9-930 and gets up at 7-730

Chelsea used to get up that often, but she's down to one or two times a night.

Working during the day, getting up during the day... it definitely is exhausting! Hopefully things start to change. I hope your baby starts sleeping better .
