Baby shower/Registery Question. HELPP

ok. so i started my registery about 2 weeks about i picked about 20 thinngs. mostly neccestys(spelling)..when i registerd the lady told me if i was having 40 people at my shower to have atleast 200 things..and thats alot lol..

im just wondering how much stuff did every one register for and my shower is like 3 weeks away when should i have it done by..

I"d say ASAP did you send out invites yet? you should have it done before invites go out.

I only registered for a few things. Not everyone you invite is going to buy you something off your registry. Registries are more like for people who have no idea what they should get you.

I did my registry at 20 weeks. I am now 33 weeks and my baby shower is Nov. 14th. You can always go and add some stuff when you want. I have about 85 things registered and 47 people are invited to my shower.

I had 50 people at my baby shower and registered for 65 things. I received all but 20 items.

did you guys register for clothes because the lady at the store told me not to..but since its only 3 weeks away if i pick some stuff it might still be there

BTW im 20 weeks and doing my registry now, sending out invites in a few weeks. my baby shower isnt until January 17 so i think you should have been on that a while ago lol. just get greedy. now that you have all the essentials go online or go back to the store and just add a bunch of other stuff that you like. people like getting one nig thing and one or two small things, so @least you know you'll be getting something you like.

yea i just wanna make sure i have all the necisery things..what are the must have baby items. besides the crib and swing and all the big stuff?

I've got about 150 things on one of my registries (with the help of my mom and sister... they're going baby crazy right now lol) and I've got about 30 people showing up to my baby shower and I honestly don't expect to get anything off of my registry... Which is ok cause I'll just go buy it afterwards

I agree... Get greedy... You won't get everything on there, but I did... Mostly with clothes and toys

lol dont ask me i have no clue. you can go on toys r us .com and look @ mine so far. its a work in progress though. are you breastfeeding? because there are a lot of cool things for that like the boppy pillow and all the accessories i have on there. its under Rebecca Marker in Chicopee, MA. i need some help/advice though so can someone please go look at my post?!?!

i have like 130 things on my registries, im registered at 2 different places though. i have about 60 people comming to my shower. your invites should go out like a month before hand! i had some people who wanted to order online, so its nice to have an early start.

yea i guess thats why i didnt go crazy with it..lol im not expecting alot of things from it..my sister had a baby shower last year she got a lot of things..but she didnt get alot from her registrery..
im planning on buying the crib and the big stuff my self lol
