Fever

We just took Landen's temperature in his ear, and it was 101.5. Do I add or subtract a degree, or does it stay where it is? We have given him tylenol and hopefully it will go down. I plan on taking him to the dr in the morning if it doesn't go down.

It stays. You add a degree for an axillary temp.

my son just got over a 5 day temp the highest was 101.7 and I gave him motrin. he has something like strep and it on amoxicilin SP???

This is the highest that he has ever had. The fever doesn't seem to be bothering him. He is still running around, and he is eating and drinking fine. He looks so pathetic tho, his little face is red and he looks tired.

aww poor little guy, if hes running and playing thats always a good thing!!! Hope he feels better
