I had never heard that name till I met my Husband. His name Is James Hayden. and he has always went by Hayden since the day he was born.. But now I hear it every where.. I hear mostly boys but there is the Famous Hayden who is a girl. So I would say unisex.

I hear it mostly for boys.

Unisex, but I think it sounds better for a boy.

DH loves it and is stuck on it....I had never heard it as a boys name

I say girl.
Holden is a good alternative for a boy IMO.

Boy...just bc i think of Hayden Christensen when i hear Hayden...even thoughi know Hayden Panetierre or whatever her name is a girl..still think of Anikan Skywalker
