just wondering

so my LO (6mths) is so tired and i have aton of hmwk to do so i put her in the crib put her music on and left. well she's starting to cry..how long should i wait till i go in and check on her..ive never just put her in the crib and left but like i said shes exhausted and i have so much stuff to get done..

5 minute increments... go in, check on her, rub her belly, etc.... dont pick her up though, if youre trying to CIO...

For my daughter it was exactly 15 minutes of whining (not really crying) and she was out. That's what she would always do if it was more than that then i would pick her up

My son is six months too, When I let him cry it out.. which is rarely only times like that when you know they are tired.

I let him cry and check him every 5-10 mins
I let him know Im there, pat his back for a min.. and then leave again..
usually by ten minutes hes out.
but I have it dark and quit..

thats just what I do, hope it helps  

oh and normally when my daughter did that she was in her swing and I also new she was tired

glad it worked well for you   im headed to that point as well, although i would prefer not to, since it seems like she wont fall asleep unless shes being held....

Yeah my daughter is 10 months
