re: Ear piercing?

it's recommended after they atleast have one or two rounds of shots... i wish my husband would let me get lana's done i think it'd be so cute. she loves jewelry. but he refuses. he says when she gets old enough to make decisions then we can talk about it... to me now would be adorable but later when she gets older its just going to be a chore bc she's going to be like "hey mom can i have 20-30 bucks to get my ears pierced" ... ugh. yeah just my thoughts let me stop rambling

I got my daughters done as soon as she had her 4 month shots because they would do it before then. I had hers done at Wal-mart but I knew the person that was doing them (we don't have very many places in the town I live in) My sister had her LO done at 4 months as well at Claires and she had to have one ear redone because they were so uneven and the other got infected. We didn't have any problems and my LO wasn't old enough to mess with them so they healed really fast.

My daughter got hers at 6weeks old. at claires shes is now 20 months old and they healed just fine she dont even bother with them.

well my huge earlobes messed up my piercing it's really high so I had to get them redone lower lol....I want to avoid that with Charlie cuz she's got my huge ears. Plus, It's her body, her choice.

My mom took my 5 year old sis to get hers and it didnt turn out to well, my sis wanted them so bad when they did the first ear she refused for her second to be done. its just easier to do it when there lil.

i know i tried to explain to my husband while she was too small to know what was going on.. but now she understands everything i mean she's 2 1/2yrs old.. guess we're just waiting then... oh well

I want them done because I want them done... didnt really ask for anyones opinions on that... I simply asked when should I get them done! I personally think they look ADORABLE... and my mother got mine done when I was 6 months and I looked freaking CUTE and my daughter will too! I am very glad my mother got mine done that early because I am not that found of needles and would have been scared to get them done, and would have been a dork andwho would have hadto wear clip ons like an old lady! So... I am getting my daughters done simple as that ;-) and if you respond to this in a drama wanting way I wont respond ;-) thanks ladies!

I don't think anyone replied with drama. They simply answer the question you asked which is when do you want to pierce your daughter's ears. If you didn't want people's opinions on when they would do it then don't ask the question. Not everyone is going to do that same as you. ?

LOL very true ;-) My daughter thanksfully didnt get my ears haha! So I think she will look adorable with her ears peirced!
