Yeah I know my docs would chew me out. Does anyone know how long you are really supposed to wait before you get preggo again according to docs?

I've heard a year is best but a lot of doctors will you give you the go ahead before that, that is just whats best for your body.

We only plan on adopting from here on out and I want to wait a couple years for that bc we want to adopt an older child so I want Miles to be older when we do.

LOL adopt I'm just curious. I would like to adopt but it is very expensive.

Well partially because I'm adopted but it's really just someething I've always wanted to do. Before we got married I even told my hubby that I have always wanted to adopt an older child (No younger than 1 but preferably under 10, but I'm open to older). There are just too many kids growing up in foster homes and group h omes and the like. I feel where I was adopted when I was 6 I'll be able to relate to them better than most and they'll most likely be potty trained too lol.

Yeah my mom was in foster care. she was in the one foster home all her life though. Her mom had cancer and gave them up before she died. But for some reason my mom doesn't believe in adopting.

That's odd, most foster kids are all about it. She probably had a much more pleasant experience in foster care than most people do, bc most people don't stay in one all their life.

Not really good no. My Nanny had older kids 18, 16, and 15. They would use my mom as an ashtray. My mom showed me all the burns on her from when they did that.
