As soon as I found out I was pregnant! We never really discussed boy names but we were 100% set on a girl name. . .good thing we're having a girl!

It makes it easier once you know, that way you're not so dead set on a specific sex before you even know. That way you only have one gender too look at.
We're thinking of boy names now, we have a girl name already set in stone, so that won't change.. the boy is just hard.. I have a boy already.
good luck!

With my son, I didn't think much about names. Once we found out he was a boy, my husband already knew he wanted a Jr, so there was no discussion. We knew what his name would be! This time, I started thinking about names as soon as I found out I was pregnant. But once we found out for sure, that's when we really started looking at girls names, and decided on a name in a week. We had our u/s on December 18th, and didn't tell anyone the gender untill Christmas. By then we already had a name picked out as well.

A few weeks after I found out. it can be a long process, I figured I would get a head start. it ended up working for me because I knew what his name was when I went to the hospital.

I LOVE your kid's names. William is such a strong classic and Ziva is so exotic and charming.

I started thinking about names the second I found out I was pregnant. Now, it's a borderline obsession.

LOL. I hear you. I think it's something most girls do. We play with dolls and give them names and we want to be mommies. I have no idea what any of my dolls' names were, but I've been thinking about baby names for a while.

I never said anything to the hubby, but when he mentioned discussing names then I didn't feel embarrassed about it.

Plus, I think I'd like to know what name he'd like our child(ren) to have just in case I get pregnant and he gets deployed and if something happened...y'know?

I remember my dolls names.... and I would never name real-life children any of them
